This is us! Aine, Mark & our beautiful little boy Oisin.

We discovered our love of photography & art years ago while living and travelling in Asia. It soon became an all-consuming passion, so much so that we left our previous careers behind to start doing what we really loved doing….. What we try to do is bring a calm, hassle-free approach to photography, where the emphasis is on all things natural – natural light, natural settings & natural images. Our hope is the make the whole process as relaxed & fun as possible.

For weddings, we do all we can to prepare for the unexpected, by visiting every venue beforehand to map out the best locations for photos & coming up with a photo plan for your day. The fact that there are two of us helps us move through the formal elements of the day as speedily and smoothly as possible, leaving us plenty of time to spend with you & to capture the details of your day. With two cameras shooting throughout the day, we capture your day from a variety of angles in differing but complementary styles.

For newborn photography, our aim is to capture the unique moments early in a child’s life, when all their vulnerability and fragility is clear to see.  As new parents ourselves, we recognise just how quickly this time passes and how difficult it is for new parents to find any time in the day that isn’t focussed on their new arrival. With our gentle, unobtrusive approach, the time we spend in your house should be calm and stress-free and will, we hope, yield images that you will love.

For our kids photography, we’ve sought to move away from the confines of the studio, to capture images of kids out and about, doing what they do best – being themselves. This may mean – and generally does – that a shoot is a little chaotic, but we’ve found that this “fly on the wall” approach allows us to capture images of kids that remind you who they really are.  Whether they are messy, studious, cheeky or shy, we aim to capture the ad-hoc flavour of your child’s personality.
